Data Import/Export​

Q: What file formats are supported for importing data into whyhow?​

A: whyhow supports the following file formats for data import:

  • CSV (Comma-Separated Values)
  • PDF
  • TXT
  • JSON

Ensure that your data files adhere to the specified format requirements and structure before importing them into whyhow.

Q: How do I troubleshoot issues with data import/export?​

A: If you encounter issues during data import/export, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Verify that your data files are in a supported format and structure.
  2. Check for any data inconsistencies, such as missing values or incorrect data types.
  3. Check that your files do not exceed our current Beta file upload limit (10MB).
  4. Check that your OpenAI account has the necessary credits.

Q: I got 'No triples created' as an error. What do I do next?​

A: This is most likely an issue with the schema. We are working on making sure the schema is more flexible and intuitive but there are currently constraints on the schema formats. This most commonly occurs with CSV file types. For example, with CSV columns and schema, the CSV columns schema must be put only in the Fields & Properties section, and not in the Entity Types section. When there are issues with the schema, no triples are generated as a result.
